Strong & Hanni is pleased to announce that Byron G. Martin, Benjamin P. Thomas and Suzette H. Goucher have been made shareholders in the firm.

Byron G. Martin is a member of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation Practice Group, Legal Malpractice Practice Group, Plaintiffs Practice Group, Professional Liability Practice Group and Transportation Practice Group.  He received a B.A. in 1997 and a J.D. in 2000, graduating cum laude, from Brigham Young University. He became a member of the Utah State Bar in 2000; the U.S. District Court, District of Utah and the U.S. District Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit in 2001. He served as Law Clerk to Honorable Anthony W. Schofield, 4th Judicial District Court, State of Utah, from 2000-2001. He is fluent in Italian.

Benjamin P. Thomas is a member of the Business, Real Estate, Securities, Tax and Estate Planning Practice Group and the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He received his B.S. from the University of Utah in 1997 and his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2001. He became a member of the Utah State Bar; Utah Supreme Court; and U.S. District Court, District of Utah in 2001; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit in 2004.

Suzette H. Goucher is a member of the Medical Malpractice, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Practice Group. She received her B.S. in Nursing from Weber State University in 1996, graduating cum laude and her J.D. from the University of Utah in 2001. She became a registered nurse in 1993. She became a member of the Utah State Bar and the U.S. District Court, District of Utah in 2002.
