He represents a wide variety of clients with divergent legal needs. David works closely and effectively with qualified professionals and expert witnesses, including business evaluators, forensic accountants, clinical psychologists, custody evaluators, social workers, and appraisers.

David works quickly and tirelessly to understand his client's needs and goals while keeping in mind the prospects of trial and the demands of the judicial process. David gained significant insight into court and trial procedure after law school when he served as a judicial law clerk in Utah's Second Judicial District. David's continued experience in the courts gives him an unique ability to advocate for his clients before the Honorable Commissioners and Judges of the State of Utah.

David focuses in the following family law sub-specialties: family law trial work, mediation, divorce, divorce modifications, annulment, separate maintenance, child custody, parent time arrangements, interstate and international custody disputes, property division, allocation of debt, business valuation and division, high value and/or complex marital dissolution, alimony, child support, child support modifications, gay rights, qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs), divorce related tax issues, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, forensic accounting, protective orders and criminal defense of domestic violence charges, restraining orders, juvenile law, grandparents' rights, guardianship, collaborative law, post-divorce estate planning and military divorces.
