History
Established in 1888, Strong & Hanni is one of Utah’s most respected and experienced law firms. The firm has been known by Strong & Hanni since 1962 when Gordon R. Strong and Glenn C. Hanni joined practices
Gordon Strong joined with Rich and Rich in the 1930’s, and began building the firm by working as a claims adjuster for State Farm at nights and doing their legal work during the day. Through Gordon’s hard work he was able to establish the firm’s reputation as a premier insurance defense firm. Subsequently, Glenn Hanni partnered with Gordon Strong in 1962. After Gordon’s untimely passing in 1969, through Glenn’s leadership, foresight and guidance the firm has become one of the premier full-service law firms in the Intermountain West.
With Glenn’s experience, knowledge and leadership the firm continued to build its reputation as one of the premier insurance defense firms in Utah. From that base Strong & Hanni has added multiple practice areas and is now recognized for its business, corporate and commercial litigation and transactional practice as well as its history in insurance defense litigation.
Strong & Hanni is known for its trial practice in both state and federal courts involving corporate and commercial disputes, transportation, medical and professional malpractice, insurance coverage, automobile, premises, and personal injury.
